He emphasized that persons studying Federal Reserve activities should pay attention to its long-term goals and strategies for achieving them rather than the incessant rumors about what it will do next. He also lauded the Federal Reserve for contributing to the controlled economic growth over the past six years. After his remarks, he took a few questions from the audience. close
