State Department officials testified at a hearing on U.S.-Mexico security and trade cooperation. Topics included the high rates of weapons smuggled from the U.S. to Mexico, and drug trafficking. Committee members also called on the witnesses to more aggressively pursue the release of U.S. Marine Andrew Tahmooress, who was being held in a Mexican jail on weapons charges. close
