Following a meeting with President Obama meeting, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe spoke about their agreement to improve trade relations between their two countries as well as the prime minister’s “Abenomincs” economic plan. He also talked about Japan’s future and U.S.-Japanese relations. He discussed the importance of Japan’s relationship with China but said the U.S. and international community could pressure China to influence North Korea to prevent any future nuclear missile tests. He responded to questions from the audience. close
