Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman spoke at a forum on U.S.-Israel relations. He talked about the economic challenges that face Palestinians which he called a major impediment to peace in the region. He also commented on the Iranian nuclear threat and the recent U.N. General Assembly vote that upgrades the status of the Palestinian Authority. This forum was hosted by the Brooking Institution’s Saban Center for Middle East Policy. This event began with introductory remarks by Brookings Vice President and former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk. close
