Nina Olson talked about her annual report to Congress in which she argued that the complexity of the tax code is the most serious problem facing U.S. taxpayers. Besides describing how difficult it is for consumers and businesses to maneuver the code, she made several suggestions for simplification. Ms. Olson responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
