Adam Sieminski and Frank Verrastro talked about the long-term outlook for U.S. energy production and consumption to 2040, and they responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) issued its Annual Energy Outlook 2013 (AEO2013) Reference case, which highlighted a growth in total U.S. energy production that exceeds growth in total U.S. energy consumption through 2040.
