James Mulva talked about opportunities in the U.S. at the start of a new administration to tackle energy security and climate change. He urged the new president and Congress to make addressing climate change a priority even as they focus on economic concerns and stabilizing financial markets. He responded to questions submitted by members of the audience.


ConocoPhillips is the only U.S. based energy company in the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, which pushes for national legislation requiring reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
