In an excerpt from a National Summit on Drug Policy sponsored by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Attorney General Reno discussed U.S. drug control policy, including drug trafficking interdiction policies and drug user treatment programs. She called for a low-key, nonpolitical study on U.S. drug policies and deliberate procedures for the reduction of drug use and drug-related crime. Following her prepared remarks, Attorney General Reno responded to questions from the audience. close
