Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, Minister for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, spoke about relations between the U.S. and Arab countries. In her remarks she focused on long-standing trade relations between the U.S. and the Middle East, areas of common interest to business and cultural institutions, and responses to the global economic crisis. Other speakers also focused on future areas of mutual cooperation between the U.S. and Arab countries.

This was the luncheon keynote address of the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations 17th Annual Arab-U.S. Policymakers Conference, “Transitioning the White House: Challenges and Opportunities for Arab-U.S. Relations,” which was held at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. close
