Professor James Rosenau, George Washington University spoke about the contradictions in the current international scene. He emphasized that the conclusion that the U.S. will successfully proclaim its values around the world is too simple and premature. Professor Ronald Steele, George Washington University spoke about the opportunities before the U.S. to share its values around the world in the post Cold War world and how the U.S. could capitalize on such opportunities. After their remarks, they took questions from the audience. This was the first of four panels which were part of a two-day conference on U.S. foreign policy in the post Cold War world sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson Center. close
