Faith Schwartz talked about The Federal Housing Finance Agency is expected to announce details today on the expanded Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP), which the Obama Administration is using to assist some with mortgages held by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The program changes the amount that borrowers can refinance and waives some fees. This comes as Freddie Mac has asked for an additional $6 billion in financing and Fannie Mae is asking for an additional $7.8 billion. She responded to telephone calls and electronic communications. close
