In the first of several panels of a day-long event titled, "Counterterroism and the Obama Administration, participants spoke about the detention and trials of terrorist suspects. Among the topics they addressed were the use of military commissions or other courts for trials of suspected terrorists, the closing of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility, standards for evidence, and detainee rights at trial. They also answered questions from the audience. close
