Author Loretta Napoleoni spoke about her book, Modern Jihad: Tracing the Dollars Behind the Terror Networks, published by Pluto Books, to an audience at the Westport Public Library in Westport, CT. She described her relationship with members of Italy’s Red Brigades, a now defunct left-wing terrorist organization. She also talked about her ten-year effort to get the book published. She described the international financing of several terrorist groups and the schemes used to protect the money that finances terrorism. Following her remarks, Ms. Napoleoni responded to questions from audience members. close
