After meeting with entertainment industry leaders, Vice President Gore and others talked about the importance of not glamorizing tobacco products in television and motion pictures. They stressed that the entertainment industry is very influential and has a responsibility to contribute to federal efforts to reduce smoking. Vice President Gore also took a few questions from the press, mostly about the campaign finance investigation.
