Bill Lacy talked about running the 2008 presidential nomination campaign of former Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN). Among the topics discussed were why Thompson waited so long to organize his campaign, Lacy’s long association with Thompson and running his 1994 and 1996 Senate campaigns, and that ultimately his presidential campaign failed because of the lack of preparation time. After answering questions from the moderator, Lacy responded to questions from audience members.
