Secretary of Labor, Lynn Martin, a leader of Women for Judge Thomas, spoke in support of President Bush’s nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. Other speakers went on to say that Judge Thomas was highly qualified and embodied the qualities of a knowledgeable justice.
