As part of a conference on President George W. Bush’s second term, Professor Renshon examined the challenges and the psychology of a second term that pertain to President Bush’s character, leadership, and transformation. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions.

Professor Renshon, a certified psychoanalyst, is the author of the psychological biography, High Hopes: The Clinton Presidency and the Politics of Ambition. His most recent book is, In His Father’s Shadow: The Transformations of George W. Bush, published by Palgrave/St. Martins. close
