Professor Steven Schier talked about The Postmodern Presidency: Bill Clinton’s Legacy in U.S. Politics, published by University of Pittsburgh Press. Professor Schier edited and wrote the introduction as well as the conclusion of the book and the chapters were written by twelve political scientists and one journalist. Professor Schier talked about the several images that former President Bill Clinton showed the American people during his presidency and he explained what he means by “Clinton’s Postmodern Presidency.” Professor Schier also discussed Mr. Clinton’s strengths and weaknesses as a president, as well as theories on why President Clinton remained popular after his impeachment. After his remarks he answered questions from members of the audience. close
