Several organizations hosted a “1960's-style speak-in” featuring Professor Chomsky. He spoke briefly and then conducted a question and answer period on international issues including the current Middle East Peace Conference. He believes the peace initiatives are biased toward Israeli and U.S. purposes, rather than overall peace. Professor Chomsky is sometimes called the father of modern linguistics. He is a harsh critic of U.S. foreign policy, which he sees as being concerned only with domination and control. close
