Jules Witcover of the Baltimore Sun, Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-California) and Senator Don Nickles (R-Oklahoma) participated in a panel discussion on the upcoming national party conventions sponsored by the Freedom Forum. Rep. Pelosi and Sen. Nickles had each participated earlier in the year in their respective parties' platform committee hearings to hear testimony on issues to be included in the national party platform. The panel members also discussed the logistics and speakers who might participated in the upcoming conventions.
