A Princeton University class called “The Literature of Fact” was taught by author and Washington Post staff writer David Maraniss. As their final project the class produced a book of 16 non-fiction essays entitled STRUC, for “structure,” which was made available through the humanities office. The essays included topics such as Christian evangelical groups on campus and an examination of alcohol use by students. Mr. Maraniss and the students discussed the writing, layout, and cover art of the book. Then, at the final class, 12 of the students read from the book. close
