Mark Denbeaux and Jonathan Hafetz talked about the book they edited, The Guantanamo Lawyers: Inside a Prison, Outside the Law (NYU Press; November 9, 2009). It is a collection of stories about the lives of Guantanamo Bay detainees and their experiences as told by their attorneys. Contributors to the book read passages from the book. Then the panelists responded to questions from members of the audience. Karen Greenberg moderated and made the closing remarks.
