Joanne Maguire spoke on the topic, “The Evolving Workforce and the War for Talent.” Topics included global economics, management training, diversity in the workplace, industry-college cooperation, and increasing student interest in math and science. She noted that China and India are producing four and five times as many engineers as the U.S. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
