Candice Millard talked about her book, Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine and the Murder of a President. In her book she tells the story of the assassination of James A. Garfield, a Civil War hero and the 20th U.S. president, who was shot four months after his inauguration by a deranged office seeker. She responded to questions from members of the audience.
