In the fourth of ten “Character Above All” lectures examining the character and leadership of presidents of the past 50 years, Columnist Tom Wicker discussed the life and presidency of Richard M. Nixon. He focused on such issues as President Nixon’s pioneering use of television for politics, his seemingly cold, intellectual personality, and his dislike for the more human side of American politics.
