Mr. Taylor explained the unresolved presidential election vote count in Florida and some of the legal actions which have begun. He talked about the constitutional provisions for electing the president. After his prepared remarks, Mr. Taylor answered questions from the audience. A panel of communications directors from the congressional and senatorial campaign committees talked about House and Senate campaigns, election results and topics such as the individual issues in each state, and whether there was a “Clinton factor.” After their discussion they responded to audience comments.
