Tina Grim, Vice President of the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania, read a letter from Tom Brokaw, NBC News, explaining that he could not attend since he was covering the impeachment proceedings. John Hope Franklin spoke about the importance of the Gettysburg address. David Klinepeter portrayed Governor Andrew Curtain and introduced James Getty as President Lincoln. Mr. Getty portrayed President Lincoln and delivered the Gettysburg address. Mr. Wayne Hill sang a popular tune of the era, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.” close
