Brian Williams was interviewed by Jacques Steinberg about new directions in delivering the news. Video clips were shown of stories Mr. Williams covered during the past two years. Topics included his experiences, New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, the war in Iraq and military casualties, whether the news programs should show more good things happening in Iraq, the question of objectivity, Internet blogs, new communications technology, and future news sources. After the interview Mr. Williams responded to audience members' questions.
