AT&T Broadband Chairman Amos Hostetter spoke about the recent merger of AT&T and Media One. He stressed that this merger provides the size and scope to compete with local telephone company monopolies. He also urged the Federal Communications Commission to review cable ownership rules and allow flexibility in pricing. This flexibility would allow for competition that would benefit the consumer. close
