The House Workforce Oversight Subcommittee heard testimony from Teamsters members on the 1996 Teamsters presidential election between James Hoffa and Ron Carey. Several witnesses testified that they were coerced to give to the Carey campaign. The Former Supervisor Gregory Mullenholtz testified about Teamsters donations to non profit groups. In August, a court appointed officer decertified the election of Mr. Carey over Mr. Hoffa. close
