Turkish Ambassador to the U.S. Tan spoke about the “robust and resilient” relations with the U.S. and discussed the transformation of the region during the uprisings in the Middle East in the spring of 2011. He condemned actions of the Syrian government and said Syria was trying to evade responsibility and obscure facts. Following his remarks he answered questions from the audience.
