Following remarks presented in Hebrew, Prime minister Barak talked to English-speaking reporters about peace talks which had failed to end with an agreement on the final status of middle East peace. He said that while Israel was willing to end the conflict at a painful price, it was not willing to accept any price and that Palestinian intransigence could be blamed for the failure. close
