The Appropriations Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Subcommittee held a hearing on fiscal year 2006 appropriations for pandemic preparedness and influenza vaccine supply by the Centers for Disease Control amid concerns that the supply of influenza vaccine for the next influenza season has already been sold. Witnesses also testified about vaccine supplies and distribution problems from the previous season. close
