Park Superintendent Tim Stone welcomed the media to Fort Moultrie before they went by boat to Fort Sumter. Michael Allen talked about the plans to mark the Civil War’s sesquicentennial over the next four years and responded to questions from members of the media. Ms. Hatcher, wife of the park historian, was interviewed about her ancestor who served at Fort Sumter during the battle. close
