Dr. JudyAnn Bigby spoke on the health care debate. She talked about the Massachusetts plan. This plan included support for low income individuals, expansion of Medicaid, a subsidized insurance plan for those not eligible for Medicaid and beneath a certain income level, the merging of the small and large group insurance markets, and employer contributions. Following her remarks, which were accompanied by slides, she answered questions from the audience.
