Mr. James Zogby, director of the Arab-American Institute, announced the release of a study that uses classified information from the 1980 U.S. Census to create a demographic picture of Arab-Americans. He stated that the role of Arab-Americans in the economic and political spheres both at home and abroad is underestimated and growing. Mr. John Zogby, member of, Arab-American Institute said the results found Arab-Americans to be better educated than Americans as a whole, as well as higher wage earners than most Americans. Arab-Americans are well above the national average in the percentage of their population who are self-employed as well as those working in management positions. close
