Susan Sontag talked about her new book, Where the Stress Falls: Essays, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux. The book is a collection of Ms. Sontag’s writings on topics such as literature, photography, film, theater, and her own career. Ms. Sontag covered a variety of issues ranging from Brazilian writers to Samuel Beckett in Sarajevo. She read selections from her book and then answered questions from members of the audience. close
