Adam Cohen talked about his book, The Perfect Store: Inside eBay, published by Little, Brown and Company. Mr. Cohen, former chief technology writer for Time magazine as well as an editorial board member of the New York Times, received full access by eBay in order to write this business biography. The author explained how the online auction house grew to one of the Internet’s most lucrative businesses with revenues of $749 million in 2001. He asserted that one reason for eBay’s success was the sense of community that has surrounded eBay since its inception.
