Youngstown, Ohio, Mayor Jay Williams talked about the economic stiumulus funds for cities and how he would handle them. The previous day Mayor Williams, along with mayors from cities across America met with President Obama, Vice President Biden, and cabinet members to discuss the economic stimulus funds they would receive. Mayor Williams responded to a video clip of President Obama at that meeting talking about the need for accountability for the stimulus funds. He also talked about short- and long-term urban stimulus needs and the difficult situation of the Youngstown economy. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
