U.S. Supreme Court Justices Antonia Scalia and Stephen Breyer discussed their judicial philosophies of constitutional and statutory interpretation and how they reach their decisions. The two justices traded their views on the interpretation of the Constitution in a changing society, including topics such as the right to privacy, cruel and unusual punishment, and segregation in schools. Pete Williams moderated the discussion on stage.
