Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) spoke about the state of the U.S. Senate. He talked about the progress of the U.S. Senate under his leadership and his plans on how to structure the chamber in the future. He talked about the importance of bipartisanship and Democrats and Republicans working on those issues where they do agree. After his remarks he was interviewed by Jackie Calmes. Topics included issues such as legislation for trade promotion authority, No Child Left Behind, and the Patriot Act.
