Ken Auletta interviewed Robert Iger on a stage before an audience about the state of television. Topics included the ABC News decision against partnering with CNN years ago. ABC, the only network without a cable outlet, rejected the proposition that the Federal Communications Commission should encourage more diversity of ownership. Iger responded to questions from audience members.

The breakfast at the Plaza Hotel was hosted by Syracuse’s Newhouse School of Communications, in conjunction with The New Yorker and Condé Nast, as part of the Newhouse School in New York series. close
