A news conference was held to release the findings of the 2007 annual “State of Preschool” report. The report ranks all 50 states on quality standards, funding, and access to state preschool programs. The speakers emphasized the importance of early childhood education and presented some of their findings. Following their prepared remarks they answered questions from members of the audience.
