In Washington, DC, representatives of hunger relief organizations including, CARE, OXFAM & BREAD FOR THE WORLD, discussed the Conflict in Somalia and South Africa, a desperate situation due to lack of flood, drought, and civil strife. Estimates are that as many as 2 million people could die of starvation. They also stated that the current relief efforts are not sufficient. Audience questions were taken. close
