Ms. Friedan talked about her book Life So Far: A Memoir, published by Simon and Schuster. The book chronicles her life as a writer and feminist. The founder of the National Organization for Women (NOW), Ms. Friedan also wrote The Feminine Mystique in 1963, which is often credited with starting the women’s movement.
