Todd Zwillich was interviewed by Skype about the deal made to avoid the “fiscal cliff” of impending tax increases and sequestration budget cuts at the end of 2012 if Congress failed to reach a new budget agreement. He noted that one cause for concern for the Democrats was that it moved the date of sequestration budget cuts to the time of the next debt limit debate, creating a new “fiscal cliff.” close
