Kurt Muse talked about the book he co-wrote with John Gilstrap, Six Minutes to Freedom, published by Citadel. Muse talked about his rescue by the U.S. Army’s Delta Force. He said he had defied Panama’s dictator, Manuel Noriega, by broadcasting on an underground radio station, encouraging civil resistance. Eventually, Mr. Muse was caught and arrested by Noriega’s forces. As the only American civilian imprisoned for months in Panama’s Modelo Prison, he described the torture he witnessed and recounted his rescue by Delta Force. After his presentation Mr. Muse responded to audience members' questions. close
