Senators talked to reporters about the potential peace talks in France over autonomy in the Kosovo region of Yugoslavia. They said that the situation threatened Balkan security and that the U.S. military may have some role to play in establishing peace. After their remarks they answered questions from reporters, including questions about the impeachment trial of President Clinton.
