A ceremony commemorating Flight 93 on the fifth anniversary of September 11, 2001 was held at a memorial site on Skyline Road in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, near where United Airlines Flight 93 crashed. Dignitaries and family members talked about the sacrifices made in bringing the flight down as well as the continuing struggle to combat terrorism. During the ceremony names of the victims were read and a large bell was struck in remembrance of the victims. close
