Administration officials spoke to government employees at a town hall meeting held to mark Public Service Recognition Week. They focused on the government workforce and its services to the public and answered questions on a variety of topics. Some of the issues addressed were the recent scandal involving General Services Administration spending on a Las Vegas conference, another scandal involving Secret Service agents involved in prostitution, partisan politics, and veteran employment. They also responded to questions about transportation security and a recently foiled al-Qaida bomb plot. close
